Yobo is no more relevant in Eagles – JP




Former Super Eagles coach, James Peter said captain of the team, Joseph Yobo is no longer relevant in the team.

James Peter made this disclosure this at the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF secretariat yesterday.
Peter who adviced the technical bench led by Stephen Keshi to drop the Fenerbache defender in the match against Cote d’Ivoire and the remaining matches at the just-concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON in South Africa, said Yobo has nothing to offer the team.
The former Assistant Secretary General on technical matter of the NFF, said if he were to be the coach, he will drop Yobo.
“Yobo has done his best for the country. If I am the coach, I won’t play Yobo in the World Cup including the FIFA Confederation Cup in June, also in Brazil,” he said.
He advised that since the former Everton player has won the AFCOn trophy, he should just forget the national team.
