Wazobia talk tough ahead of Supreme FC challenge

The chairman of the Wazobia Football Club of Abuja, Hakeem Aregbe said nothing will stop them from picking the three points available in today’s match against Supreme Court Football Club.
He made this claim when he paid a visit to the team’s training ground at Lugbe Football pitch, along Airport Road, Abuja.
Aregbe said even though their Abuja neighbors, Supreme Court is playing at home today, he does not see them stopping them from the available point in the match.
“We know Supreme Court, we know their capabilities. Yes, we agree that they have experience but that was Nigeria National League, NNL, and this is Nationwide League One, they are two different leagues.
“Moreover, majority of their players have left and they are just starting all over, that is one of the reasons why we believe they cannot pose any threat to us. Our boys are already wounded with the match they lost to Von Veterinary of Jos due to the carelessness of our goalkeeper hence they are coming out smoking to grab the needed point,” he noted.
Aregbe further stressed, “We are also aware that their coach is an experienced manager who have coached in the elite league, but we are not moved by that, we will use our youthfulness to overrun them.”
He however urged his players to be calm and calculative in order not to get carried away by the support they have been enjoying from fans around the city.
Recalled that Wazobia lost their first match to VON Veterinary of Jos, Plateau state while their opponents in today’s match, Supreme FC were on break.
