ABS FC charges players on good performance

Chukwuemeka
The Director of Football (DOF), Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, has reminded the players the need to brace up in high spirit to surpass the position the club finished in the first half of the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Chukwuemeka said this while addressing the players after their Wednesday's evening training at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
His words: “Let me tell you the truth, the second round of the league is always tough and we must give our all. You must be ready for the challenges, we are sure we will record smooth execution of the final round of the league. This mean you can go anywhere and win.
“Do your best because your performance is what we are going to use if you will remain with us next season. At the management level, we will do all we can to make you comfortable. I know we are not a big spending club but we will not deny you your entitlements. Let’s make our regular funding easy from our boss by performing very well week in week out,” Chukwuemeka said.
The man, who also doubles as the executive secretary of the Club Owners, said the club brought in the new players to compliment the effort of others to achieve the desired target of the season.
He continued, “You guys are good, if I answered all the calls of clubs that requested for many of you during the transfer window, I will not have players again.
"This is a sign that you guys are very good, so let Nigerians see that we can compete with the big boys" Chukwuemeka added.
The Saraki Boys will begin the second round of the league with a home game against El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri on Sunday in Ilorin.
