Plateau will play continental matches at new stadium - Kwande

Member of the House of Representatives and Board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Hon. Suleiman Kwande said his State team, Plateau United Football Club of Jos will play all its continental matches at the brand new stadium under construction.
He made this disclosure when he visited the NFF secretariat on Monday on an official visit.
The man who also doubles as the Chairman, NFF Media Committee further revealed that he is going to take it up with the governor of the state, Simon Lalong for early completion.
His words, “By the grace of God, we are going to play our continental matches in our brand new stadium. I will take it upon myself to make sure that the governor finishes it so that we can play our continental matches there and no other place.”
Kwande who is the leader of delegation for the Nigerian Super Sand Eagles better known as Beach Soccer also assured that the team is fully prepared and ready to do the country proud.
He however said they are not going to play any friendly match over there because there will be no time for such and moreover, since they have prepared well in the country.
Recalled that this year’s FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup which is the 9th edition will take place in Nassau, Bahamas between 27th April and 7th May 2017.
