NLO: League has not be postponed – Alkali

Chairman of the Nationwide League One, NLO, Mohammed Alkali has dissuaded insinuations in some quarters that the league which was scheduled to commence on the 4th of May, 2017 has been postponed.
Speaking in a telephone chat with our correspondent, Alkali said there is nothing like postponement and the league will commence as planned.
According to him, “Who told you that? There is nothing like that, the league will commence on the scheduled date.”
Meanwhile, Alkali who also doubles as the chairman of the Nasarawa Football Association said they will do everything possible to ensure that the league surpasses its past achievements.
“We are doing everything humanly possible to see that the league surpasses its past achievements. We want to take the league to another level and we want ensure that all stakeholders will be partakers from the proceeds of the league especially the ones from sponsor,” he disclosed.
Recalled that the NLO has entered contract agreements with some organisations which will see both players and coaches benefiting from the proceeds especially in the area of coverage of the league, training of coaches amongst others.
