Kingsley Eduwo's strike cancels
Victor Mbaoma's 13th minute goal to share the spoils at the Gateway
International Stadium, Sagamu in Match Day 9 of the Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL).
The Sky Blue Stars started brightly
in the early minutes of the game with good flashes from Awazie Ekene, Oche
Salefu and Victor Mbaoma.
In the 11th minute, Lobi Stars
goalkeeper Odah Okiemute was forced to make a world class save from Martaba
Umar's half volley at the edge of the box to deny Remo Stars the first goal of
the game.
Shortly after, Victor Mboama scored
for the Sky Blue Stars from Oche Salefu's corner to go ahead after Lobi Stars
defender failed to clear the ball inside their box.

Remo Stars couldn't convert multiple
chances to maintain the lead in the game.
Befor the half time break, Tony
Opotu should have leveled scores for Lobi Stars but his shot from point blank
was saved by goalkeeper Chizoba Ndukwe.
At the resumption of the second
half, Paul Isaac tried to increase the lead for the Sky Blues Stars but he
nodded wide from a corner.
Just after the miss, Opotu leveled
for the Pride of Benue, tapping into the net after goalkeeper Chizoba Ndukwe
spilled the ball to his path.
In the 62nd minute, Mboama fluffed
the chance to make it 2-1 for Remo Stars but his effort from a cross was saved
by Okiemute.
Remo Stars had numerous chances
wasted in the closing minutes of the game leaving both teams with a point each.
