Adekunle confident of victory against Abia Warriors

Adekunle of MFM against Plateau United
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM FC forward, Adegboyega Adekunle believes his side will be victorious in Wednesday's Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) midweek game against Abia Warriors FC.
The Olukoya Boys are hosts to the Abia-based team in Wednesday’s Matchday 16 clash scheduled to take place at the Soccer Temple, Agege Township Stadium.
MFM FC who have not tasted defeat at home this season narrowly lost their last league match away from home to Gombe United on Sunday courtesy of a 54th minute strike from Sadiq Shuaibu.
Adekunle said his team is prepared to challenge Abia Warriors for the three points stating the importance of the maximum points at stake.
His words, "I think we are prepared for the game tomorrow against Abia Warriors. It is a game we must win with a good number of goals and I believe we will make our fans proud at the end of the game.
"Abia Warriors have been in fine form in the league, they defeated Kano Pillars 3-0 in their last league match so they are coming into this game with a lot of confidence.
"We are not happy with the result of our last league match where we lost 1-0. This game is very important to us, the maximum points will take us back to the league summit and we have to do all we can to get it," he told mountaintopfc.com.
MFM FC are in second position on the 20-team table with 27 points from 15 matchdays. A win against the Ochendu Boys will take the Lagos-based outfit back to the top of the log depending on the outcome of results elsewhere.
