Board
member of the Nigeria Football Federation and chairman of the Niger State Football
Association, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh will be the chairman of the day at
the 1st Federal Capital Territory, FCT Football Association, FA 2017-2018
calendar year launching ceremony.
Fresh
who reaffirm his presence through his SA on Media, Mr Aro Olaoluwa says, “I was
invited by the FCT FA chairman, Mr Musa Taleh and I made my commitments known to
him that I would be there by God's grace despite the changes in the
schedule.”
Also
speaking, the host chairman, Taleh said, “We decided to extend the invitation
to him due to his love and interest in grassroot football. Don't forget
that, he is not the only personality coming but he is the chief host of the 1st
of its kind calender launching of the FCT FA.”
Taleh
who was part of the invitees at the just concluded 37th edition of the Niger State
Governor's Cup disclosed that Alhaji Fresh would also use the opportunity to grace
the FCT FA cup final match between the representatives of the FCT Nigeria National
League, NNL sides between FC Abuja and Federal Road Safety, FRSC Football Club,
otherwise known as Safety Strikers.
To
get to the final, FC Abuja defeated National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Football
Club by 4-1, while FRSC edged Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC Football Club with
a lone goal.
It
would be recalled that the Chairman Referees Appointment Committee of the NFF,
Ahmed Fresh had earlier graced Kano State SWAN Calendar Launching.
