The Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Referees Appointment Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf fresh was one of the dignitaries at former Nigerian international, Dahiru Sadi daughter’s wedding.

Fresh was in company of former NFF Secretary General, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi as ancient city of Kaduna was agog as Dahiru Sadi gave out his daughter in marriage.

Also at the occasion were chairman of the Nationwide League One, Mr Mohammed Alkali; NFF executive member, Alhaji Rabiu Inuwa Sheriff; Kaduna State FA Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Kazeem; Adamawa State FA chairman, Musa Duhu; Jigawa State FA Chairman, Sabo Abudulahi; and Taraba State FA chairman, Mr Timothy Heyman amongst others.

Fresh who sent a message to the new couple through his SA Media said it’s really a thing of joy when one's daughter walk down the aisle. “I am very excited that the chairman, Player's Union Association, Mr Dahiru Sadi's daughter was given out by his father to start a new life. I wish them well, I pray they enjoy the gains of marriage," Fresh said.

Also speaking, former NFF Secretary General, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi
noted, "Well I don't have much to say, in Yoruba land, when one's son or daughter gets married, usually our prayer is for them to receive marital blessings from God."

Also in attendance at the wedding Fatiha of Dahiru Sadi's daughter was NFF Head of Psychology Unit, Dr. Robinson Okosun; Nationwide League One executive secretary, Mr Shola Ogunnowo; member of the NFF Match Commissioners Committee, Mr Mohammed Manzo; secretary, Players Union Association, Mr Austin Popo, former Super Eagles player, Garba Lawal, members of the Niger State Football Association led by Mr Yabagi Baba.

The fatiha took place at home of the father of the bride, Dahiru Sadi. Sadi thanked his guests for coming and prayed that good things won't depart from their various homes.

Niger Governor's Cup: Football Top Shots Storm Mokwa For Fresh

This Sunday, the high and mighty in Nigeria football will storm Niger State for the 37th edition of the Governor's cup as it goes down in Mokwa Local Government Area of the State.

Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello, who the tournament is being played in his honour will be on ground to grace the occasion alongside the 'who is who' in Nigerian football.

The Nigeria football big shots billed to storm Mokwa town, venue of this year's final will be doing so in solidarity with the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Referees Appointment Committee who also doubles as member of the CAF Technical Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh.

Fresh, who have been identified as the ‘beacon of light’ in Nigerian football has galvanized the State through football development as never witnessed before since he became the FA Chairman with series of football competition staged around the nooks and crannies of the state.

Present at the 2017 Governor’s cup final will be executive committee members of the NFF with over 20 State Football Association, FA Chairmen.

So far, the tournament has been intriguing, entertaining and revealing as many potentials of the State in the 23 of the 25 local government areas of the state have been discovered.

Meanwhile, the final of the tournament which the world is about to witness will be tomorrow, the 30^th of April 2017.

According to our correspondent, logistics have already been put in place hence the people of Niger State cannot wait to witness the final and winner of the 37th edition of the Governor’s Cup.

Almar football club, Remo Stars football club & JCTC football club have reached the Semifinal of the 2017, Ogun State Federation Cup.

Almar defeated A4 distinctive football club by 3 goals to 1, to reach the Semi-final and JCTC edged out Olisa football club 6-5, on penalties, after 1-1 draw in regulation time, to reach the Semifinal.

Remo Stars however defeated Dominion football club, 1-0 to progress to the last four. 

The last quarter final match between Gateway United football club and Remo Stars Feeders team will be played on Wednesday, at the Gateway International Stadium, Ilaro.
